Why subscribe?

In today’s day and age, most of our music consumption is determined by algorithms and commercial success. The top 1% of artists are responsible for 90% of all music streams.

This is why I’ve decided to create this project.

The goal is to dig deep for songs and artists that have had an influence in the music world and try to understand the impact they’ve had in our lives, without us knowing it.

The first stage of this exercise will be a biweekly newsletter that contextualizes said songs and artists, with the purpose of enjoying them at a higher degree.
