You already know what today is. Trying to keep the good karma flowing, every Friday weâre gonna be sending a recap of the songs that I (or other guests) have been listening throughout the week. This week we have recs from two fellow music club members (MĂłnica & Shantel). I hope to encourage to listen to tracks you havenât listened to yet and maybe help you discover your new favorite artist.
Letâs get this bread and the music recs flowing.
Lost In Space ft. SG Lewis - Folamour
Folamour is one of the funkiest house disco producers right now. His heavy layering of drums and silky-smooth baselines combined with SG Lewisâ baritone voice creates a fucking vibe. This track is a perfect way to open the weekend and let you enjoy it at its fullest.
Dance II - Discovery Zone
Is there a better way to start a friday than sumerging yourself into an ethereal pop fantasy? Probably not.
Berlin based multi-media artist JJ Weihl takes experimental pop to another level with her solo project Discovery Zone. The first single of Discovery Zone's debut album has everything to satisfy your synth funk needs and if that´s not enough her experimental art music videos will certainly do the trick.

Fantasy - Mariah Carey
Summer is around the corner, so you know its time to fall in love or get that summer lovin. This track from the OG r&b pop diva is perfect for the occassion. The songâs melody is catchy yet not cloying (empalagosa). On repeat on my days this week, Fantasy is a song which never gets old to sing, dance or if you wanna express you have a serious crush. Without a doubt, if wanna feel pumped up and gorge listen to this song.

Supersexe Freestyle - Lou Phelps
This song is seeeeeeeeexy af. But not in a r&b sexy way, in a
way. While the lyrics arenât as hypnotizing, the production is what makes me feel sweaty. Lou Phelpsâs is a longtime friend and collaborator of Kaytranada, which this track makes fairly obvious. The use of hi hats and spacey 808s are classic Kaytranada and make this song a perfect one for the summer.

Stronger Than Me (At The BBC) - Amy Winehouse
Last week they released a live version of all the tracks performed by Amy Winehouse during her concert at the BBC. If thatâs not enough to make you go and listen to this emotional track, idk what will.
